The Zerg investor is an incredibly powerful unit to use when playing a Zerg vs Terran game. The reason for this is simple, the infestor is great against groups of bio units such as marines and marauders and the infestor is unstoppable against large ground units such as the mighty thor and tank. This guide will instruct you on how to use the infestor correctly and when you should not use them at all when playing against Terran.
The key to winning this game is scouting so you know what the Terran player is up to. You can use your overlord to fly over the Terran base and see what he is making. His marines will most likely kill your overlord but it is a worthy trade for knowledge.
If the Terran player is making marines and marauders with medivacs then you should use an infestor and zergling combo. Use the zerglings to keep his marines and marauders busy while your infestors use fungal growth on them. Fungal growth will do 36 damage to his whole army and your zerglings should not have much trouble cleaning up the rest. If the Terran player goes with thors or tanks then have your zerglings keep them busy while you get your infestors close enough to use neural parasite on them. This will give you control of his units for a short time and after this its game over. Just use your zerglings to finish off any units he has left. So as you can see infestors are the perfect unit for winning a Zerg vs Terran game.
